Travel Report: Daegu, South Korea | Finnish |
How is the weather?
Korea is warmer than North Europe. When we came here in the end of August, it
was still hot for months. Every dormitory room and classrooms have a fan, which
was in heavy use. In November it was still about 15 degrees during the day time.
In the winter it gets cold at nights, even minus degrees, so a warm winter coat
is also useful. There is still no snow in Daegu. There is a heater in dormitory
rooms, but it only works some hours in the evening and night. There is no heater
in classrooms, so you need to sit there a coat on. The summer began in March,
when there was over 20 degrees for the first time and cherry blossom was beautiful. |
