Ceramics
This course is not on the list of the courses you can attend. We went to
Daemyung campus and asked a ceramics teacher if he would teach us. Daemyung is
concentrated in arts, and it's a beautiful campus about half an hour bus drive
from Sungsuh campus, where the dormitory is located. We had private teaching
for two students once a week. We made rice bowls and other ceramics with a
wheel and decorated them by engravings. The teacher didn't speak much English
but otherways he was nice. If you'd like to attend to art courses, ask from the
international center.
We wanted to have a calligraphy course and the international center arranged us
there. On this course we studied the basics of calligraphy, which means
painting Chinese characters on a big paper. It's surprisingly difficult! The teacher doesn't speak English
at all, but luckily there was a Korean student who translated us the most
important things. The course is located on Daemyung campus. |
